Brijith Thomas and Fred Marlton organized the mini-symposium “Interdisciplinary Approaches to Disorder and Short-Range Order in Materials” at AsCA 2025 in Taipei. The session brought together researchers from crystallography, spectroscopy, diffraction, and materials science to discuss emerging approaches for understanding local structure and disorder in functional materials.
