IUCr 2026 NMR Crystallography Microsymposium | August 2026

Brijith Thomas and Prof. Rachel W. Martin (University of California, Irvine) co-chaired the microsymposium “Methods for Structure Determination of Complex Systems Using NMR Crystallography/Computational Approaches” (MS25) at the IUCr 2026 Congress and General Assembly in Calgary, Canada. The session featured invited lectures by Prof. Yusuke Nishiyama and Prof. Leonard Mueller and highlighted recent advances in NMR crystallography, computational methods, crystal-structure prediction, DFT, machine learning, and integrated approaches for the structural characterization of complex and disordered materials.
