Dr. Renny Mathew is a researcher specializing in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy with over 15 years of experience. He is currently based at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), where he focuses on solid-state and dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) NMR to study materials' structural and dynamic properties. His expertise includes multi-dimensional NMR, pulse sequence development, density functional theory (DFT) calculations, and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.

Dr. Mathew earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Stockholm University, Sweden, where he investigated bioactive silicate glasses using solid-state NMR. His research has led to numerous high-impact publications and collaborations across disciplines, including pharmaceutical sciences, catalysis, and biomaterials. He has played a key role in NMR crystallography, solving pharmaceutical structures at natural isotopic abundance using DNP-enhanced NMR.

Beyond research, he has mentored MSc and PhD students and trained scientists in advanced spectroscopy techniques. He is also skilled in instrument maintenance and computational analysis. With extensive experience in academia and industry, Dr. Mathew continues to push the boundaries of NMR applications in material science and structural chemistry.
