My name is Jaewon, and I am a sophomore studying Chemistry at NYU Abu Dhabi. My current research uses variable-temperature solid-state NMR to investigate how cations move in Na–Cs RHO zeolites at different temperatures. I am particularly interested in how understanding ion transport in solids can guide the development of better battery materials, especially solid electrolytes for next-generation solid-state batteries. Through my research, I hope to explore the connections between material structure, ion mobility, and sustainable energy storage.
