As part of the 19 Washington Square North Faculty Fellowship, Prof. Claudia Avalos and Prof. Brijith Thomas co-organized the symposium Lighting Up the Smart Materials: Applications and Structural Insights at NYU. The event brought together researchers working on photoswitches, light-responsive materials, structural characterization, spectroscopy, and computational approaches to understand functional molecular systems.
